The Animal Ethics Project (AEP) seeks to raise awareness, open dialogue and foster positive social change for non-human animals. Through a combination of informal education, research and activism, the project brings together academics, students, activists, community educators and community members with the aim to contribute to policy change and to work towards a more compassionate and ecologically sustainable society. While the focus of the AEP is non-human animals, our work seeks to make visible the intersections of oppression between humans and other animals in contemporary society.
